Re: Why did you get a chow?
Hi all I have been interested in them all my life. As a child, I was only allowed 1cat, which was persian. I left home eventually and bought another persian. Then when I bought my house I wanted a dog but with the two persians I thought I wouldn't be able to cope with extra grooming of a chow so we ...

Eagle Pack or Innova
I currently have my nearly 9 mnth old boy on Holistic Eagle Pack Large - Giant breed Puppy kibble, which he seems to enjoy. Is there any evidence to suggest that Innova is a superior food?
Thanks

Hi Swerve
OMG that's an awful thing to happen. I would've written sooner but have just got back from a few days away (no comp). Hope your family is recovered fully now.
Hugs to the doggies.

Re: Hugo is being desexed today.
Hi
The vet has just called and the operation went well, wasn't too inavasive either. Luckily the other testes(the undescended one) was easily accessable. So I can colect my baby at 3.30pm.. I have made up a lovely bed for us.
Thanks
Michelle

Hugo is being desexed today.
Hi just wanted to say I'm nervous. I've read about Chow being poor anaesthetic candidates and my boy 8 months is a really loud snorer and snorter which makes me think it could heighten the risks because of shalow breathing or something. I'm sorry I am just nervous I love Hugo so much, he is like our...

Hi I heard of an apple sour tasting spray, sorry not sure of it's proper name. Maybe if it doesn't sting too bad, you could get something fowl tasting to stop them nibbling on their stitches. Poor you, must be tired too as well as the girls. It will soon be over and all recovered. Hugs to you all Mi...

Desexing on Thursday
My 8 month old boy is being desexed next Thursday. Only one testicle is down. So they are going to do some investigating to find the other one. Hope all goes well, my poor baby. I'm assuming it's more invasive than a regular two testicle desexing, so extra gentle cuddle and love are on the way. Have...

Hi all
My chow 7months, has a green discharge from his penis. Is this normal? He is not desexed yet. It doesn't seem to bother him.
Thanks in advance
