Re: Annie
Ya know, Buddha is back to his normal lovey self actually. Every once in awhile he'll look for her, but he's acting the same way he was before we had her. We are keeping an eye on him, I got him a bully stick yesterday, which I broke in three pieces, so he's not carrying this huge, stinky thing arou...

Re: Annie
Thank you. Yesterday was a very bittersweet day for us. Erica came over and picker her. You could see the confusion in her face, and it broke my heart. Well, Erica called a little while later and said she was exploring and that she would come to Erica and let Erica love on her. Erica already loves h...

Re: Interesting e-mail
Right? Gosh, I always wondered if I'd know off the bat...but this just ooozes shady! He never addreses her by her name, or asks any of the important questions. When I googled the address a Science research center was the first thing to come up, but the number's were a little off. If I was getting a ...

Interesting e-mail
I always wondered how you knew if someone would make a good pet owner or not, if it would be obvious or not if they were "Bad people" for lack of a better phrase. I got the following e-mail in response to Annie that I wanted to share..because I wonder if anyone else has ever wondered about...

Re: Annie
I'm going to encourage her to become a member here. It's been a valuable thing for me to learn more about our Chowy friends, and I'm sure she'd like all the support, and would learn a lot!

Re: Annie
Annie has a home! One of the girls I work with is going to give her a forever home! I had talked to her a year ago about her getting a Chow and what to look for , and what to expect, and we really saw eye to eye on how you raise pets as part of the family and everything. She's also done some of her ...

Buddha is trained...sometimes I think he thinks he's getting a treat...annie...she's smart as a whip and if we'd had more time to really work with her she would be.

Re: Help
The t-shirt idea is great. Because he's so young it may just take a little while for him to be comfortable being alone. It's hard to hear him whining, I know, but he'll be ok. When you leave for the day just make sure he has everything he needs. As for the riding in car stuff, Buddha has ALWAYS whin...

Re: *Censored Word* Glands?
The other night annie knocked over the baby gate and when I tried to get it un-stuck, I dropped it and her and buddha both did whatever it is that causes that smell. It happens when they are scared, probably why he did it when he was at the vets getting clipped. A lot of other breeds do this too, it...

Re: What questions to ask?
Yeah, I'm a little nervous to test her out with cats...the lady used to be a member on here actually, but she's got four cats and isn't keen on seeing how Annie is w/ them...not that I can blame her. She's definitely knowledgeable about Chow's, in a "I've owned one before, and I know how they a...

Re: What questions to ask?
Thanks everyone, I do have someone interested in her, she says she used to rescue Chow's in California, she has two mixed dogs now (non chow), and cat's...unfortunately, we know nothing about Annie and her reaction to cats, and as there are no cats around here I'm not sure how to test this? She seem...

Thanks for the input, I definitely want her returned if they have to give her up, and that will be part of the deal, no exceptions.
