That's great to hear, and kudos to both of you for doing some preemptive grooming, I know that's a daunting task. Maybe she wont have to be shaved to the skin, but however it goes, she'll feel much more comfortable.

You pays yer money, you takes yer chances. Life is uncertain and anything can go wrong... whether it's a puppy from a breeder (any breeder) or a rescue. Just have a plan in the back of your head in case something goes wrong, because it will, they are like the little pink kids that way. :D Insurance ...

Just to clarify, when I say "rescue", I mean rescue: from a shelter, rescue organization, private foster, or in Sophie's case, off the street. But your point is taken. I also wish I had said "Chow from Breeder" rather than "breeder chow", that does seem to carry a negat...
