Re: what is your chow chow's weight?
This is very interesting to read since I have worried about my chow's weight. He is 41lb at 14 months and has been the same weight for the last six months now. I've been so worried i've over exercised him but he's a superfit and healthy little boy, loves running fast and jumping high in the air, and...

Re: hair loss.
Exactly the same thing happens to my chow too at times. I have been wondering about it too. Then all of a sudden it just stops. He seems totally unbothered about it. I try to only bath him a couple of times a year, but it does tend to happen after a bath. Unfortunately, I had to bath him twice this ...

Re: Kicked out of puppy socialization....
I agree. Just continue and get him to see other dogs as much as possible. Re: Please help: my chow bit my husband
Thank you all for your replies! It's hard to describe well an incident in just a few sentences but it's really nice to be with other 'Chowites' when in situations like this. I got home yesterday to find our Chow stretched out and relaxed by my husband's feet, who had taken the afternoon off to go ho...

Please help: my chow bit my husband
I am pleading all you chow owners for advice please! My husband and I have a gorgeous male chow who is 13 months old. Since I'm I've been at home and my husband has a heavy workload, I'm primarily the one who's brought him up, fed him, walked him, groomed him, taken him to dog training, etc. and as ...
