CINNAMON HAS CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

Hello My Dear Chowfriends, It has been a while since I have been on and posted. It is with great sadness that I let you all know that our dear chowgirl Cinnamon passed away on Thanksgiving night. She would have been 9 years old today. You may remember Mandy and Sojourner helped me with the transport...

HI EVERYONE! AN UPDATE FROM BAILEY AND CINNAMON

Hi Guys! Wow my Mom sure has been busy but not too busy for us just too busy to play on the computer. We're so glad to have each other to keep company (although we'll never admit it, we're way too cool for that!) Bailey's Irish Creme is going to be 2 in March and aw dear sweet Cinnamon just t...

I sympathize with the situation you are in. I have been caring for my ailing mother since May and it's been very tough. She is two hours away and I have two kids and two dogs. It's hard keeping two househould running and everyone's morale up. IF I Can help at all with Transport I would be happy to. ...

don't have much info but just covered this topic with my vet

My vet who is a man of few words talked alot about these chips when I just had Cinnamon Microchipped. Both Cinnamon and Bailey are chipped with Avid. My vet said there is a better more advanced chip coming out that's not made in the US (this maybe the homeagain or maybe even something new not sure)....

helping the chows.....

Shawn,
What part of town are you in? My cousin has a kennel in White Oak and I have personally worked with two different chow rescues in PA so I may be able to help you find a foster temporarily.

All the "reputable" breeders and "reputable" rescues are aware of Luana so don't even take her comments to heart, everyone laughs rolls their eyes and hits DELETE! She is very easy to see right through and hangs herself. Anyone that would involve themself like this and in such a negative way is very...

Good Point Sherill! I'm involved in an upcoming rescue transport. Of course this situation isn't the norm and there is stress involved with transporting a rescue to it's forever home but I sure hope they find the cause. Even a dog that is vetted before transport can have underlying problems and as m...

Really didn't want to add to drama but have something to say

Poor souls the whole thing just breaks my heart. Bama and I have personally been victim to the wrath of Luana/LuvChows and her true colors just continue to show when she posts on here. She recently emailed my friends about Cinnamon when she nipped at Anna and my friends were appalled by her. She is ...

This could be an option for you if you want to check it out. Would take longer than your option but if cost was a factor this is a volunteer organizat...

My opinion on the invisible fence.....

Since you have homeowner restrictions (as do we) and the invisible fence is your option for chow freedom I think it's an ok option. I believe in training. I'm not one to say it's a chow being a chow, I think chows can be trained just like any other dog and they are eager to please. I do think some t...
