My 7 month old female chow seems to be fearful of my daughter. She keeps her distance and does this low growl at her. The pup wasn't socialized well for the 1st 6 months, before we picked her up. What are some options for training, so that she doesn't act this way? We don't want her to act like this...

Chow lovers, I am in need of some advice. Our 6 month old red female is a sloppy drinker. She always has her bib wet and nasty. What can we do to help this? The vet has mentioned the possibility of infection. We are constantly trying to dry her off, but we can never get it completely dry....

Thanks for the comments. She has started carrying her tail up almost all the time now, especially when she's confident. If she is unsure or apprehensive then her tail goes down. She is learning.....
