thank you for the kind replies, i felt like my chow did what he thought was right in the situation. he has always protected me against other dogs at my work or even if we have guests over and one of my husbands friends tries to hit me randomly (jokingly to taunt theo) i know there are stupid people ...

so today my chow chow theodore was being taunted by a three year old boy and his siblings, this kids loves to scream and kick and pull his fur out. my dog has never bitten anything, he is very protective of me and barks if he thinks someone is trying to harm me. i work with dogs and have trained him...

just and update, i have been ignoring him, and havnt been giving him special treatment when i work, its helped him know his place when he isnt at home! so far he doesnt over react when he is being told what to do, and now instead likes to follow me around to let everyone know im his lol, he is quiet...

From what I read chow chows don't mark where they sleep, he peed on a mattress in the living room, he slept their earlier, in my backyard or if I bring other dogs into my yard he doesn't bother them and comes when called, just his random burst of energy and his dorky smile when he got to the living ...
