Re: Question on my Chow's hair...
You don't need a harness for a chow chow, they have very strong necks so try using a leash instead. It may take a long time for that hair to grow back. Keep the harness off!

Re: What type of shavers are the best for Chows?
You don't shave them, you use shears to trim the hair and a good combing out and brushing. Also a good strong blower to use when they blow their coat. They always shed though in matter how often you brush.

Re: Blowing his coat
You need to use a blower to remove the hair that is coming out, do not shave a chow chow. They have all that fur for a reason. You will need large combs, brushes and a good blower. These dogs are regular maintenance to keep them healthy and looking their best.

Re: Keeping his paws clean
Hi, you have to trim the hair that grows around the pads. Once a week, it grows fast.

Re: Inner ear hair removal; yes or no??
Hi, I work with 7 chows and I would not pluck it out, but you can trim it and keep ears clean by checking them at least once a week.

Never feed chow chows together, that is in their breed.

Re: My two chow chow dogs are fighting badly
Hi, I take care of 7 chow chows and from my experience, they will still fight if you spay them. It will also change their fur and make it harder to groom, it will become more course and Mat easier. You will have to keep them separated forever.
