Diet for Chow Chow (Philippines)
Hi everyone. My Chow has had some dry skin problems. I am from the Philippines, so I am pretty limited to the brands. My mom, who's in the US, is planning to buy him dog food from there. I want to ask you for recommendations. My Chow's current dog food is Lamb Meal and Rice, along with his vitamins ...

Re: Chowchow can't climb up the stairs
My girlfriend's house has a spiral staircase, with dimensions similar to this one.

My question here is that can a Chow Chow climb up and down those stairs?

Re: Chow keeps biting
@Tippsy's Mom,
Thank you for the tips. We haven't yelled at our pup or let alone give him a physical reprimand. At most, I tried to do a nipping action with my hand when he bites (what I read about bite-inhibition).

Re: Keeping his paws clean
He is three months of age. I would think taking him outdoors to potty/poop would be fine. I agree that keeping him away from dog parks or areas where there are multiple dogs untill he is fully vaccinated is ok. Remember this is a period when he is learning what is and what is not acceptable. Thank ...

Re: Keeping his paws clean
We were advised not to let him out or walk him outdoors by the vet because he hasn't had all of his shots yet.

Hello My 3mo. old Chow is biting everything it sees, including his leash, brush, glove, and some hands. Vet says that it's completely normal at his age to do a lot of biting because of his teething. He alreayd has a teether and a ball to chew on, but he likes to nibble... He doesn't really bite aggr...

Keeping his paws clean
Hello again. I'm new to this site, so I'm not exactly sure which posts go where. We keep our Chow in a cage and in an empty room with an open window and a fan for now. We are currently trying to build a cage for him.... My question is that over the 2 weeks we've had him, our pup sleeps and eats in h...
