What is the best type of food to feed your chow chow?

My chow is a little over 3months of age and I was curious to know what age do you start feeding them adult food? Also what is the best food you can feed a chow?

This is a more recent picture of him. Hes 13weeks on this picture. Does he look like he will be red or cinnamon when hes an adult?

Why is his face, ears, and paws darker than the rest of his body?

Yes he is full chow. Ive had some say he was cinnamon and some say red. What are the characteristics of red vs cinnamon?

What color would he be considered? See his face and paw color?

Hello, I have a 12 week old chow chow thats a medium brown color but his paws , ears, and face is a dark orangy color. Could someone please let me know why he has 2 different colors going on.
