Re: The Chow Chow Owners Picture Gallery!
Hello :D I do have a question as i was looking at all those amasing pictures Do all of these beauties snor as loud as mine does? My neighbours even called the police to complain about it. Not that there was anything that the police could do to stop her from snoring. Snore? Charlie snores like a smo...

Re: Help and Advice Chows UK
Go onto the kennel club site and register, you can then get alerts for registered breeders who have Chows for sale. Their names and addresses are listed so you can get in touch with them. Be very careful of scams though there are so many out there and usually they use the same photo to advertise &qu...

Re: Bear II 2002-2012 RIP
BearII has not gone, he is still there in your mind and heart, you have so many good memories of him and no one can take that from you. No other dog grabs you like a chow, they ARE a part of your family, THE most intelligent dog, no, they are more than a dog, so much more. take comfort that he is no...

Re: Charlie.
Cute photos! Are you in west michigan by chance? No we live in England, the photo is on fistral beach Newquay Cornwall, it was Charlies first holiday at 12 weeks old, he had only just been allowed out after his inoculations. We were in our camper van and he watched the ducks come and feed every day...

Re: 1 year...
It's so nice to be able to share your thoughts with like minded people who do not think you stupid or a bit weird, only chow lovers know what it means to have a chow as a friend, (you never own a chow they own you) I lost Benji in 1994, I was in France at the time on business, he had been diagnosed ...

Re: Blowing his coat
Agreed, whatever you do, do not shave a chow, ever, their coat is their protection and you will be opening up a whole can of worms if you ever do that. As Auddymay says, read up on chows, buy a book on them or read through posts on here, chows are very unique dogs they are designed to be the way the...

Re: Why do Chows have such a bad rep?
LINDS1425, Your statement that most Chows turn on there owners is absolutely ridiculous and not true. What is more amazing is that you believe this, and still go on to say that you are totally for Chows. Why would you support ANY breed that you expect to turn on it's owner? Just crazy talk. I'm Lin...

Re: what do you feed to your chow chow?
We feed charlie on chicken and rice, duck and rice kibble, lamb and rice kibble, tuna and pasta, he loves his scrambled eggs and poached eggs in the morning, he also loves his rice pudding. He is one now and has no allergies or skin problems, we make sure he has his worming and flea and tick pills o...
