Well Our Airedale had snow shoes for paws...LOL...as a pup he weighed 10 pounds at 6-1/2 weeks old his Paws didnt lie..lol he is an easy 110-115 lbs not even 2 yrs old yet...so maybe it isnt so inaccurate all the time...Plus Kodi had big paws he is very big too..being over 80 lbs standing over 26 in...

Thanks everyone..yes they do love each other, lol...Victory yes Shelby is a big Boy he stands over 27 inches at the shoulders and is a good 90 lbs....He is 25 months old...you think he is Big you should see our Airedale...lol...

Last nite watching TV our female chow Mia and Our Male Collie Shelby were spooning....lol..They have such a great relationship..these were our 1st 2 pups then came along Bear our Airedale and Kodi our male chow...I cant believe how well they all get along...We tease and say that Shelby is Mia's boyf...

I dont remember what Kodi weighed back when he was that age he will be 2 in May im guessing he was around 33-35 lbs at that age..but Kodi pictured bellow he is tall very tall.26 or so inches at the shoulders.....he is around 85 lbs maybe a little more..he has more filling out to go yet too..lol..

I find it upsetting we have 6 cats all house cats..and 4 dogs 2 chows and Airedale and a collie...i wouldnt come on a site bragging about you dog [s] killing a cat..sorry i think it dis-tasteful...

Our dogs all love to be lap dogs..lol..i guess thats the way we raised them with lots of LOVE....

Try raising 4 pups at once 2 chows..An Airedale and a Collie...oh and 2 kittens 2 cats...lol...FUN....There all so cute would be hard to choose but im sure you will do fine...

My Pekingese does what you describe but that is because he is nosey and wants to see what is going on. My chows are big eaters. Our 2 chows are no were near like that...WE can do anything to them while they eat..Our cats go in there bowl and they just back up wait until they are done looking around then go back into there dish and eat...We even hand feed them sometimes when there food is a little to wet and they cant pick it...

Our Kodi is a GA chow rescue well actually his mom was pregant when they brought her up to NY...we adopted him from Chow Chow rescue of NY he was 7-1/2 weeks old when we got him..he will be 2 yrs old May 2nd...We love him he is a great dog!!! Not around here..they all know what our chows are and MOST wont come near them..Our female is like the walmart greeter..But Kodi he is good but i make sure i have a close eye on him when people approach..walking him last week in the park a young boy tried running up to him and pet him i got right in...

No we use a measuring cup to check...it 5-6 cups a day our female chow she gets a good 4-5 a day...there are some days he/she will leave a little but most of the time its gone....lol

Wow...really up to 3 yrs...Kodi isnt even 2 yet and he is over 80 lbs,.,..He is very tall too...He eats once day...he gets 5-6 cups of food...sometimes more..and believe me he isnt FAT at all...you can feel his ribs easy....lol...

Then what is Kodi's excuse..lol..he is a Male ...lol...he has always had some sliver in his tail and rear featherings...

We went to feeding our Dogs Ome time a day around 6 at night we used to feed twice a day once in the morning and once a nite..they stopped eating in the morning so we went to nite time the same quanity tho that would be for morning feeding and nite so Kodi gets about 5-6 cups a day...it works great ...
