I am not sure of the answer, but neither one of mine are shedding yet. My groomer said Louie had a lot of hair come out on his last grooming day (Dec. 21) but he is definitely not blowing his coat yet. I wonder at what age they loose their puppy coat? Louie is 11 months old and has not lost his yet.

It is grooming day around here so I happen to know this without checking.......... both Louie and Mailie's pads are joined. I am assuming it is normal for Chows.

Louie went in the kids playroom and stole my daughters Star wars light saber (she got it as a party favor a few months ago).
