I used Air Canada to transport my then 2 year old Bernese from Toronto back to LA in 2002. It was non-stop 5 hours trip. All you need is medical record which shows all shorts are up-to-date. They are very strict on what kind of crate can be used, so check with them before go ahead purchase one. Make...

Hello, My 7 years young chowboy -- Tiger has been getting the shots for the last 1 and a half years. Started from once a week, and now he's getting it every two weeks. We do see a great improvement when it comes to itchiness. However, we are not able to take him off the medication -- prednisone 100%...

As my discussion with Judy, who is in charge of this case from the Chow Rescure Ontario, it's ok to have them adopted seperately. I also PM one of the girl, who's from Montreal that was looking for a chow and see if she's still interested. But so far, no luck! There's no more foster home available t...

I don't think any of us physically punish our chowdren in this site. But we do need to let them understand what behaviours are acceptable and what are not. And Chowmane, welcome to joint the site and congrads on became a new chow servant. In regards to your shot's question, I am looking at Tiger's b...

Most of the fruits and veggies should be ok. Like Rogansmommy said, depends on your chowdren. For Tiger, he is a typical Chow, who is extremely picky on what he likes to eat. He loves apply, but only eats the Fuji type no others. He likes grapes too, but if it's not sweet, he just sniffs it a little...

OMG, our smart monsters....... :? Lucky me, Tiger never, really never "steal" anything from us. I figure out the main reason is that he hates to hold things in his mouth. Carol, hope your cell phone is still working -- after "staying" outside with all the rainings we have.

Tiger has no problem to look at me in the eyes, if I were not too close to his face. But it's also so true, that he will look away as soon as he realizes that I catch him looking at me. :D

I hope Songsong is feeling better now. The one way I learned from my vet and my own experience to identify the ear infection is to smell it. Just simply open it up -- as our chowdren will "CLOSE" their ear when they find out what we are planning to do. :? Then just put your nose right &quo...
