results are in Denali has a "raging uti" thats the vets exact quote..she is on antibiotics and hopefully will be ok

back from vet who thinks it MAY be a uti but wont know till the results from the urinalysis come back...
got some antibiotics..hopefully thats all it is!!!

It started last night at around 3am Denali started making a fuss in her crate ( never done this before ) Not wanting to reinforce the behavior we ignored it..after about 15 min she stopped...this am we let her in the backyard and she started squatting to pee way to much like 20-30 times in a few min...

tap water (city source ) for Denali.. we also carry one of those collapsable bowls in the car for when we are out and about

So we go to one of the local pet places for a long line and of course we take Denali...as we are making our way thru the store an interested mother and son ask what kind of dog she is we dont reply (not ignoring) we just acknowledge the question and change the subject they pet her for a few and the ...

I've fortunately never had any experience with her running out the front door. However, I agree with Kiwani's statement regarding the "popping". Dogs just do not understand hitting of any kind, they are not little kids. From what I've read the alpha dog shows very little physical punishme...

just about every dog Ive ever had does the flip toy,chew thing but our new girl loves the body slam full on charge and POW she can get pretty good height too about 4 feet or so

I would say always give your chow or any dog for that matter the chance to succeed rather than fail..We`ve had many dogs and not once have they been fed from our plates or the table so no begging...
