-Is it used for bathing only or can I use it anytime?
-Do you use a detangle spray with it?
-Last one, how long does the brush/blade last, need any sharpening?

Friday April 28 was Zeus' first year old birthday!!! He has giving me and my wife so much joy. We couldn't ask more for a wonderful Chow. Mandy- it’s good to see Chewie all grown-up! lol He developed to a handsome chow. I always love seeing pictures of him since he reminds me of my Zeus. They are almost the same age... I can't believe how fast they grow up. Zeus will be 1yr old at the end of the month.

Yea most of your farming or privately owned pet stores will carry Nutro brand. The coupons comes in handy... the coupons consist of $1 to $3 off on their can food, treats, and 40lbs bags. Im a big fan on the Nutro brand.

Wow! I can't believe they would shave his neck without even trying to get them out while bathing him. Once you use a conditioner or an anti-tangle treatment, it’s pretty easy to get knots and mats out of his fur. I bath my own... we have a nice grooming shop here that you can bring your dog and bath...

Well my wife is somewhat a Greek mythology fan. She loves history and remembers a movie when she was growing up, The Clash of the Titans. She always loved the Greek names and thought it would be perfect for a dog’s name.

Yup, Im with Shane. Just some simple house rules. Andromeda is a sweetie when I call her... she comes to me. But Zeus ignores me and likes to do what he pleases. Zeus knows a few tricks, sit and shake.

I have been told my two look like bears and lions. So far, Im the only one in my neighborhood that has chows. About a mile down in another neighborhood, I saw a lady walking her black female chow. I feed my two 3cups once a day. At times I'll mix it with chicken or canned food. Really good stuff. I was turn on to the Nutro brand by this board, too.

Im sorry to hear the bad news... at least it’s treatable and you caught it in time. I feel your pain, in spending a lot of money in vet bills. I had a pretty good size vet bill not long ago, but in the end... it was worth it. I hope he gets well soon!
