Saw a purebred Chow this morning.

I was leaving my house to go to work this morning and saw a Black dog walking in the middle of the street about a block up. I drove towards it and see that it looked to be a healthy full blooded chow. I took a picture of it. I got out of my jeep to see if it had any identification on it, the dog was...

Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?

Weenis, when you say the dog should have been confined you are making a judgement call on the law in that area. Where I live your dog does not have to be leashed or confined as long as it stays on your property. Clearly the dog didn't leave the property as the drive way was part of her property. So...

he could have used his tazer instead of his gun; I asked an officer this, and he said they're instructed not to use tazers on anything accept humans, since that's what all the testing is aimed at. he could have used his baton instead of his gun; Assuming he had it on his belt at the time. So what i...

Re: KILLING MUDDY

Legally subdivide your property and turn ownership over to your husband or another family member, put up a structure.

You can now legally own 8 dogs.

Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?

Even if the dog was growling there was another solution to the problem. Get in the car. He could have opened his car door and got in!! Maybe, but I'm pretty sure if the dog was aggressively charging, that it was quite a stressful situation. Another thing is, if it was aggressively charging, what wo...

Good observation. From the video, one is not able to properly determine the demeanor of the dog.

Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?

I assumed that he did not file a report, because it said nothing about it. In the womens words she thought that he thought that he was going to get away with it and no one would no. So I assumed that he did not a file a report, that she came home found her dog murdered in her driveway. Watched the ...

Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?

Because-1. The news said he did. 2. Officers are required to file a report when there's a discharge of the firearm, if he shot the dog and just drove away, that would be bigger news than the dog being shot in the first place. Quit with the ad hominem attacks already... Unless you have a differant n...

I think he was in the worng!! But what really got to me is he never bothered to get or try to get in contact with the owner. He should have made a report. Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?

There's nothing worse then a wanna be cop they always seem to relate Law enforcement with guns and shooting, the bad part is they become security guards at wal-mart. I'm a systems administrator, switching fields isn't really beneficial to me at this point. The police weren't even there for him they...

Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?

Trespassing is a legal term that can refer to a wide variety of offenses against a person or against property. Trespassing as it relates to real estate law means entering onto land without consent of the landowner. The lady never called for the sheriff, therefore, he was on her property without her...

Looks to me like that would be the answer I was expecting from you. Besides guns what goes on in that empty head.
Keep it cordial moron.

Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?

Trespassing is not an issue in the given situation.

Also, it could be argued that the officers entered the dogs restrained area. But as the video tape shows, there's no gate to the property.

Europe has already started implementing non-battery cages for chickens. So? Europe does lot of things that are stupid also. The chickens have enough space to move around/roost, shake their feathers, and even have dust so they can bathe. This change has resulted in happier, healthier chickens and th...
