I loved all of the photos, especially the tea party one, and the story about Lucy. I'm glad that she got to have a great family after what she had gone through.

We got our puppies from a shelter, they were there for two weeks, and were only about 6 weeks old when we got them. They had been found walking the streets and were three days away from being put to sleep when I came across them. I taught them sit, shake, and lie down. I wish I had never taught them...

I have Greenies Smart Bicuits, and that is great for Ringo, who didn't really have too offensive of breath, just "doggie" breath, but Sandy, nothing can help her. The dogs really like this biscuit, it smells like chicken, it's the one they really respond well to. I tried getting the them u...

My Ringo and Sandy used to bark whenever they saw someone walk passed our house, but I worked with them on that. So, now they only bark if someone actually "invades" our space, our driveway, yard. They get excited when they hear a certain make of car, or the school bus. I won't even hear i...

I think Auddymay could be right. After looking at the photo, she did stop dancing and looking around, I think because the snowball I was holding fell apart.

I hope it snows again this weekend. They LOVED it! I feel like I should move to where they can get to enjoy snow more often. :)

I've tried to brush them to help get the tufts of hair out in a managable fashion, but that doesn't seem to help on the under coat of hair that they have. I'm at a loss here. Is there anything that I can do to help the fluff come off? Every time my dogs move, you see the fluff flying off of them. An...

Ringo & Sandy

Here is a photo of my two half chows. They're brother and sister. Ringo is the black and white. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p17/Eleanor414/4%20Legs/2007_06_10_dogs_4.jpg This one was taken last night when they got to see snow for the first time ever. They loved to eat snowballs. http://i124.p...

I went through this exact same thing with my two puppies. They were driving me absolutely NUTS. I tried to just confine them to a part of the house that if they terrorised, it wouldn't be so noticable, ie. the kitchen and family room. But they were chewing up everything, and getting into everything....
