thanks guys! I am going to pick him up tomorrow afternoon from the vets office and hes going to the sanctuary for rehab.. we are hoping after the surgery is paid for we will have some extra so he can go to hydrotherapy and accupuncture to help with his hips.. but we will see.. hes a very sweet boy!!!

I am really just excited that they went to homes that have chow chows or have had them in the past... so they know what they are getting in to.. Jan Nadja's new mom said she looked just like her 12 yr old chow Jasmine when she was that age... shes in love!!! and Nadja will be spoiled rotten like her...

Nadja got adopted last night by a great home in NC... She went to a home where she has two big chow chow sisters! got an email from her new mom last night and shes doing great!

Just thought i would share my news and i invited her to join the forum so we can all watch her grow up

wow.. he looks great didnt know they had posted his picture... looks like somebody had some grooming done he is such a sweet boy and got along with everybody at my house for the time he was there.. hopefully he will get adopted soon!!!

well i got the little stinker tonight.. turns out the weather in texas is going to be really hot on Saturday so we fly tomorrow instead! Oh and a funny thing happened.. found out Chango was a boy... site and shelter said girl... until i got there had no clue! thank goodness West Texas Chow Rescue is...

Btw if it doesnt work out and she needs to get to PA.. let me know. I am leaving next thursday to go from CHarleston SC to Concord NH... a rescue asked me to drive and they are covering gas and such... they are actually trying to raise the money now so cross your fingers.. but we can squeeeze her in...

Also anybody near Franklin Ga that could pull the catahoula and keep Friday night?? and get them to the transport on Saturday???

Ok so here is the run sheet thats going this weekend that we can add Kali on if we can help Jen fill the legs... hey here is my run - i need someone to get the dog on friday b/c the shelter won't be open in time to start on sat. at 7am. perhaps even if we can get someplace near columbia or upper GA....

I dont know about superhero.. crazy was more like it.. But so glad that Remi has found a great new home with you guys and cant wait to watch him grow up.. actually cant wait to see what he looks like say a year from now when hes fully grown... will be pretty neat to see if he keeps his red highlight...

other thing is a friend of mine that lives in PA is coming to Sc the last weekend in May and will be going back up a week later if that would work i can ask her... so a couple of options..

Hey when do u need the transport? Reason I am asking is because a rescue has asked me to drive from SC to upstate NY. taking puppies from the shelter here to up there.. I may be doing that run or will be doing another one the first weekend of June... need to find out how many dogs we have going but ...

Chango's transport is a go.. hoping to fly her out of Sc on Friday if all goes well we will be at the airport at 5am :shock: that will be an early morning but she will be in texas by 10:20am... will let u guys know for sure on the day... and will post pictures! everything is covere...
