haha this is so funny, rylee will do anything to grab the hair i brush out of her, but as soon as she has it in her mouth she obviously realises it isnt as wonderful to eat as she thought, but time and time again she will do this. its never had any bad effects and i dont imagin it ever will as dogs ...

i would really love to hear what you all use to treat hot spots. my vet has shaved the area, provided a steroid shot and 7 days of anti biotics. but no cream? i want to help my babe heal as fast as poss. thank you so much everyone i love this site. it provides so much support for my first chow! xxx ...

Ok so my baby got her 1st hot spot and boy what a painful experience for her and man i hated to see her so distressed! We went to the vet as soon as i saw it pop up and they shaved the area, gave her a steroid shot and she is on antibiotics for 7 days. aslong as i am watching her, she will not lick ...

creams are hard to find show "quality" as they put it, as there nose has to be black or else its a fault, and creams generally have those gorgeous lil pink noses! BLACKS? i dunno... maybe its the so called "scaryness" of them that hasnt flushed out of the ring yet? reds and cinna...
