i met a dog owner today, her dog is not a chow, who told me she used betadine on her dog who had lots of hot spots. it is cheap to buy at the drugstore, she applied it to the hot spots twice a day until they cleared up and they never came back.

hi, you can order wolfking online, right from their website, and they give you a discount. they also offer sample size bags of all their kibble as a freebie if you order $20 (i'm not sure about the amount, but it's in the $20 range)...plus free shipping. it's not a bad deal.

you can ask for a "titer" (sp?) test before giving any vaccines. this determines if the immunity from the last vaccine is still in place, so you don't need to immunize as often.

hi,
mr. pookieface is 37.5 lbs. at 1 1/2 years old. he seems to have stopped growing. vet said he looked great at his last check up. still, when he's wet you can see he's very lean, although he looks quite tubby because of all the fur.

regarding the kongs, if you fill them with a few treats then plug up the hole with peanut butter, then freeze, it works very well.

hi everyone, i read marley and me, and i highly recommend it. most of the book is very upbeat, parts are incredibly funny and really captures the way people feel about their dogs. the end is very sad, because marley does die, and it did make me cry, but it was worth reading. quick read, well written...

hi everyone, just to give you an update: things have improved dramatically!!! these are the changes i made: i've been leaving my bedroom door open during the day while i'm at work, so he can go in there, which is where he sleeps at night (under my bed). i think this helps with any stress issues as t...
