Re: A wonderful souvenir of my Buster
That's beautiful! I've often thought about having Hugo's hair spun as I'm grooming him.
Well done, that's just lovely.

Tibetan Mastiff
Hi all, Just wanted to know if anyone has had much to do with Tibetan Mastiffs. I really like the look and size of them and the ones I've seen online (some) look like enormous chows without the blue tongue. They claim they are one the the most anceint breeds in Asia, and I was just curious if anyone...

Hi, I have not been on for a while, just busy with life. This may seem a little odd me writing this but we are thinking of having a white christmas this year and have always fancied Germany. Is it pretty much a guarantee that it would be snowing in Munich at Christmas time? I hope you don't mind me ...

Re: Hello again. Need some advice
Hi,
So very sorry you lost your mum and have had a rough time. In relation to Lily, I know it won't fix or do much for the leg but perhaps a kong filled with some treats to distract her and she can probably play/eat it lying down.
Good luck and hugs to you. Welcome back btw.

Re: And the idiocy continues.....
A lot of people are selfish and are only thinking of themselves and their dogs and are oblivious to the law and or what suits the situation. You will as you get older Jess, gain tolerance. It's testing I know but otherwise you'll go crazy if you analyze everything everyone does.
Re: Drop out?
I have read on here that people shouldn't really pet dogs on the head, it's kind of demeaning, they should be (once accepted by the chow) petted on the side of the back or the chest. Perhaps your chow is telling the people this.

Re: Nails and *Censored Word* Gland..
Hi, Can't offer advice on the *Censored Word* gland,(I'm assuming that's what you meant). In regard to the nails, yes it could be the concrete, is it possible to walk on grass for a while, till the nails mend then alternate between concrete and grass. I have heard that if you rub a cake of soap over...

Rice /Grains
Hi Just curious some people feed rice to their chows and others say grains aren't good for chows. Isn't rice a grain? I feed Canidae and TOTW grain free formulas, but occasionally we have left over rice and I'm too scared to give it to Hugo because I have read on here about Chows and grains. Others ...

Re: ACL surgery brought forward but now I'm in doubt
He walks fine, although has had the last couple of mnths fairly quiet due to the leg issue, I have been walking him again though 20 mins a day is about what we do. Perhaps he has packed on the weight while not walking for the couple of mnths. Will slowly increase the walking time up to an hr over th...

Can't believe I missed this post.. Anyway OMG also, too cute. I too had 2 persians who I had to put down last year, one was Pugsley (Black) and Teddy (Blue). Both had squished in faces and were 18.
Enjoy your furry friends, (mine is snoring right now).
