Re: well its over
Men  I tell you, put them all in a bag and start hitting it, you'll always hit the right one!!! You're not alone girl. My advice, listen to angry girl songs, maybe some Avril, it helps to be angry. And don't ever let him manipulate you into thinking it might be all your fault! Try this one, it...

Angie, this is what everybody is talking about, a Döner Kebap: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%B6ner Be careful though, they are addicting. Some Döner places made it to the news, 'cause they were selling spoiled meat, so make sure you find a good one. Forget Mexican food in Germany, from my experi...

You're probably right Karin. My son has all those toys, but he has more fun riding his bike or just playing at the playground. I wish I was more crafty I would build him all kinds of things, but unfortunatly I'm not very talented in that area. David, my son is just going to be 5, but he keeps asking...

I know what you mean about the faces. I'm also not a big fan of their coloring. I understand their motives (getting the best of all 3 breeds), but I still would prefer a Chow or a Samoyed over an Eurasian. Ok thanks to Wikipedia I found a couple more fancy Spitz type breeds in case it's neither Eura...

Here's some pictures of a grown Eurasier and the story behind the breed.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasier
It basically looks like a Chow mixed with Keeshond, although it's supposed to be Chow, Wolfspitz and Samoyed.

Non-Chow/ Kids: Scary Aqua Dots Recall
http://money.cnn.com/2007/11/07/news/international/toys_drug.ap/index.htm?cnn=yes You guys probably heard about this one already, but I felt I should post it anyway. I haven't watched the news recently, so I don't know, if it was on it. Just saw this online. My son was asking me to buy those for him...

Oh, I like this game. I guessed the Shiba Inu right, cause of the Flea medicine commercial  , but I had know clue which type of terrier. Lets see the only puppies I know, who look like chows are Eurasiers, like Desi already mentioned. http://www.eurasier-online.de/welpen/allgemein/welpen_e.htm...

I'm very sorry Sharon, if I made you feel this way. I can assure you it it was never my intention to put the US down. My own husband is an American soldier and he's very proud to serve his country. We always openly discuss all the advantages and disadvantages of the US and Germany and I joke around ...

I think the thing I miss the most is KinderEggs. They're hollow chocolate eggs with a plastic egg in the center with a tiny toy. Some of them have to be put together and have tiny parts so you must supervise the kiddos with them. They don't allow them in the U.S. due to choking hazards. Lol, I like...

That's weird. Have you checked down town or at the playground, that's normally were they're hiding after school, if the weather is not too ugly. I just remembered the WIC place on post also had lists of German daycares and preschools, since your youngest is old enough start looking for a Kindergarte...

Don't worry about asking as much as you want. I'm glad I finally know some answers to the questions asked in this forum...lol. There are daycare centers in Germany, they are called Kita, which is short for Kindertagesstätte. The German preschools are called Kindergarten and they are normally open ti...

Katalin, you already did a great job at translating everything. Why do you want a German drivers license, too Angie? As far as I remember you can drive all vehicles in German with your Military license. I really don't know much about how to get a German license when you already own a foreign license...

Breathless-- I thought you were already here. Last time I saw you I thought you were only a couple weeks out from coming here. Trust me I thought so, too, but you know how it is. Plans got changed as usual and they send DH to all small town in Texas instead. So unfortunately I'm still over here, ju...
